Northern Care Home Fined for Not Supervising Medication

A  Nursing Home in Darlington has beeen issued with a fine for failing to ensure that all national standards on the safe management of medicines had been complied with

The fine followed two inspections in February 2012 where the initial problems had been idenfied and nothing was done to remedy the problem.

The Care Home Willow Green in Darlington Co Durham is registered as a care home with 63 residents but the problem of incorrect medication had been identified for over three months.
