Out and About
If you are injured as a result of an accident when you are out and about, in other words not at your place of work or at home, you may be able to claim compensation for the injuries, losses and inconvenience you suffer as a result of the accident.
In order to claim compensation it needs to be established that the accident was not your fault and that there is a third party responsible for the place where the accident occurred.
In some instances this can be straightforward; if you are injured in a gym whilst using faulty equipment it should be pretty clear who is responsible for the upkeep of the equipment and the training and supervision of the gym users.
However it is often not a straightforward matter to establish who is responsible nor whether you were in any way at fault. That’s why it is best to seek legal advice from a specialist, experienced personal injury solicitor.
At O’Neill Injury Solicitors we specialise in all types of personal injury and have handled hundreds of cases. We will be able to assess your potential claim quickly and confidently and so we are very happy to offer a free initial consultation. This will be completely confidential and there are no strings attached, your free to decide not to proceed and even to choose another solicitor if you wish!
Also in most cases where we agree to proceed to pursuing a claim we are able to offer a No Win No Fee Agreement. This means you don’t have to pay us anything to take up your case and we will recoup our costs from the compensation agreed, and if the claim isn’t successful we will bear our costs ourselves. So you can be sure that if we say we are prepared to represent your claim for compensation we are pretty confident it will succeed.
