The Yard At Ilkley in Food Hygiene Case

Ilkley pub owners are seeking legal advice after nine charges were brought on hygiene regulations by Bradford Metropolitan Council

The Yard Pub at Brook Street in Ilkley were allowed by the court to obtain legal advice and the case was adjourned on this basis

A hearing at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court was adjourned initially

The charges relate to the alleged breaching of  of the food hygiene regulations. These included  charges of raw food being left next to cooked food, dirty walls and floors in the food preparation area and tea towels used to dry hands also being used to clean surfaces. There were also allegations of inadequate training of a food handler, and non-compliance with a food safety management system.
