The owner of a Bradford takeaway, the Fresh Fillingz on Duckworth Lane Bradford is facing legal action over allegations of breaching food hygiene regulations.
The charges are brought by Bradford Metropolitan Council who had inspected the takeaway in January 2013.
It was alleged that the shop had inadequate washing facilities and also food storage problems. There were also allegations of contamination. One of these involved a colander of raw chicken being left in a sink above cleaning sponges.
The owner Mr Rashid pleaded not guilty to all charges. He also stated he had complied with all the notices that had been served against him.
As a result the case was adjourned for trial which is scheduled to take place on February 12 2014.
